Victoria Bond and Hilary Bells’ seething drama of ambition and betrayal tells the story of one 19th century woman’s visionary struggle to defy history and become the first female President of the United States. In October 2012, Anchorage Opera performs the world premiere of the fully-orchestrated score of Victoria Bond’s opera, Mrs. President. The performance, at Discovery Theatre in Anchorage, Alaska, is part of Anchorage Opera’s 50th anniversary celebration. Join us for a preview in New York City at Symphony Space on July 9th, 2012.
