Thurman Awarded Silver Medal at 2011 American Traditions Competition
Every year, Savannah, Georgia hosts the American Traditions Competition, which awards singers who perform American music in a variety of styles. Katrina received 2nd Place and the Silver Medal at this year’s competition, which was judged by opera greats Sherrill Milnes and Hilda Harris, and Broadway legends Chapman Roberts, Christine Pedi, and Craig Schulman.
