Rivero’s Rodolfo shines in Arizona

Maria Nockin of Music & Vision Daily reviews Arizona Opera’s latest production of La bohème and has this to say about ADA tenor Gaston Rivero:

“The Phoenix audience has a great deal of faith in the ability of Artistic Director Joel Revzen to bring them the best of the new singers emerging on to the scene, and they were not in the least disappointed. Most outstanding was the young Uruguayan tenor, Gaston Rivero, who sang Rodolfo with a warm voice that seemed to flow easily up and down his wide range. It’s a voice that audiences will want to hear more than once.”
